OUR TRADITIONS

- The process of grapes becoming wine is briefly interrupted only in winter. But, in January the vine pruning begins, followed in March by the so-called vine-tying.
- The first shoots on the vines can be seen in May, in June and July the farmers thin the vines out and August is the time in wich the bunches of grapes are thinned. This is a fundamental step to obtain fine wine.
- The grape harvesting starts in early September with the white grapes and continues through mid October.
- Then comes the fermentation in barrels.
- All these steps are followed continuosly by our expert oenologist.
- Making good wine requires dedication, sensitivity and passion.
